We also supply green hydrogen to Prima Protein as part of the "Robinson" EU project
From February 2024, Kaupanes Hydrogen AS's hydrogen plant is in normal operation. HYDS is operating on behalf of Kaupanes Hydrogen AS. As operator and plant manager, HYDS takes care of the overall responsibility for safety and predictable operation of the hydrogen plant.

Vision & goals
Kaupanes Hydrogen AS was established in 2023 and will offer commercially pressurized green hydrogen as one of the first facilities in Norway. Kaupanes Hydrogen is thus at the forefront of the development towards making hydrogen an important energy carrier and contributor to the green shift. .

Operation of the facility
HYDS is the operator and facility manager on behalf of Kaupanes Hydrogen AS.
This entails overall responsibility for safe and predictable operations. The plant is monitored 24/7 through the operation center of our partner Sunnhordland Kraftlag. All technical services are carried out by our partner Alltec AS and Dalane Kraft AS.
